Jakub Radocha, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Kralove, Charles University, Czechia. He currently serves as the head of the multiple myeloma unit and the Deputy head for science and research at the 4th Department of Internal Medicine – Hematology at University Hospital Hradec Kralove, Charles University, Czechia.
Dr. Radocha graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Hradec Kralove, with an MD in 2005, and he earned his PhD in Internal Medicine in 2012. In 2019, he was promoted to Associate Professor of Medicine. His primary research interests include residual disease in multiple myeloma, proteomics in myeloma, and supportive care in cancer.
He is the author and co-author of over 90 peer-reviewed publications and has been an investigator in numerous phase I-IV clinical trials, particularly those related to myeloma treatment. Dr. Radocha is a member of several professional organizations, including the European Myeloma Network (member of Young Board), the Czech Myeloma Group (Board member), the European Hematology Association (EHA), the American Society of Hematology (ASH), and the International Myeloma Society (IMS).
