Dr. João Souto Filho, MD, MSc, PhD, is a Professor of Medicine at the Faculdade de Medicina de Campos (FMC), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He completed his training in Hematology at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). His main clinical and research interests are in onco-hematology, particularly multiple myeloma and lymphoma. Dr. Souto Filho has a deep commitment to patient care and is highly enthusiastic about the rapid scientific advances in hematology. He has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and has delivered oral presentations at major national and international meetings, including the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and the Brazilian Association of Hematology, Hemotherapy and Cell Therapy (ABHH).
