Dr. Chao‑Hung Wei, M.D., is an attending physician in the Department of Hematology-Oncology at the National Taiwan University Cancer Center. He received his medical degree from Taipei Medical University and holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Hematology, Stem Cell Transplantation, and Oncology. Dr. Wei completed his residency and fellowship training at National Taiwan University Hospital. His clinical and research interests primarily focus on plasma cell disorders, with a particular emphasis on light chain amyloidosis. He was the co-first author of the joint position statement on light chain amyloidosis issued by the Taiwan Society of Cardiology and the Hematology Society of Taiwan. Dr. Wei’s ongoing work aims to integrate basic research and multidisciplinary care to improve outcomes for patients with plasma cell disorders.
