My name is Yiyang Fan and I just graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with dual B.S. degrees in mathematics and biostatistics. I'm also a student intern at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute working on RNA expression signatures in Multiple Myeloma. I'm passionate about developing machine learning and deep learning methods in the field of biostatistics to improve the efficiency and precision in healthcare. I also enjoy playing tennis and soccer as well as watching sports in my free time.
