My name is Mette B Levring, I'm a medical doctor and currently a PhD Student at the Dept. of Clinical Research at the University of Southern Denmark and the Dept. of Hematology at Odense University Hospital in Odense, Denmark. In my PhD project, I study the stromal cells of the bone marrow and their role in developing myeloma bone disease. Through cell cultures, immunohistochemistry and transcriptomics I study bone marrow stromal cells and the bone in sites of myeloma bone disease comparing to healthy and osteoporosis.
