Professor CAI Zhen is currently the deputy director of the Bone Marrow Transplantation Center, the director of the Multiple Myeloma Treatment Center, and the director of the Hematology Department at the Chengzhan Campus of Zhejiang First Hospital. Since 1984, he has been engaged in the clinical diagnosis and treatment, teaching, and basic research of hematological malignancies. In 1992, 1999, 2004 and 2008, he/she successively served as a senior visiting scholar at the Medical University of Lubeck in Germany, Humboldt University in Germany, the University of Tubingen in Germany and the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, which ranks first in the United States. Since 2016, he has been rated as a second-level professor at Zhejiang University, and since 2014, he has been appointed as a Qiushi Distinguished Physician of Zhejiang University.
