Nicole Sequeira, MBBS, is an Internal Medicine resident at the University of Connecticut with a growing focus on hematologic malignancies and patient-centered research. She completed her MBBS at Father Muller Medical College in India and subsequently held research roles at Baylor College of Medicine and the Medical College of Wisconsin. She has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications, including studies on cardio-oncology syndromes and mental health in oncologists. Dr. Sequeira has presented at national and regional conferences and has been recognized for her contributions to clinical and translational research. She is passionate about equitable care delivery and community engagement, contributing to local health initiatives and educational outreach. Dr. Sequeira is currently in her second year of residency and plans to apply for fellowship in Hematology and Oncology where she will continue her clinical and research pursuits.
