Xi (Cindy) Chen, Ph.D., is the Director of Clinical Pharmacology and Modeling & Simulation at GSK. With a decade of industry experience, she specializes in optimizing oncology drug dosage through innovative approaches that integrate preclinical, biomarker, and clinical study data. Dr. Chen also develops robust strategies for comprehensive clinical pharmacology assessments throughout the drug development lifecycle.
As a clinical pharmacologist, she has deep experience across preclinical, early, and late-stage development for both solid tumors and hematological malignancies. Her expertise covers diverse drug modalities, including checkpoint inhibitors, bi-specific antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), and small molecule kinase inhibitors. Dr. Chen earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University at Buffalo.
