Ludovic Martinet, PhD, is a Director of Research at Inserm, based at the Cancer Research Center of Toulouse (CRCT, Inserm U1037), where he leads the "Genomic and Immunology of Myeloma" (GENIM) team. His research focuses on deciphering the immune mechanisms that drive multiple myeloma progression and on developing innovative immunotherapeutic approaches for this disease.
Since 2019, he has co-led the GENIM team alongside Prof. Hervé Avet-Loiseau, combining immunogenomic analyses with preclinical modeling to investigate novel immune-based treatment strategies. His group collaborates closely with the Intergroupe Francophone du Myélome (IFM), enabling large-scale translational studies and functional validation through advanced myeloma mouse models.
Dr. Martinet’s work has been widely recognized through publications in top-tier journals including Immunity, Cancer Cell, Blood, and the Journal of Clinical Investigation. His research has played a key role in advancing our understanding of immune dysregulation in multiple myeloma and its therapeutic potential.
