Donna E Reece, BA, MD, FRCPC
Dr Reece is Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto and Director of the Clinical Trials Program for Multiple Myeloma and Related Diseases in the Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre/University of Toronto. She held the Molly and David Bloom Chair in Multiple Myeloma Research from 2009-2023 and previously served as past Chair of the Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials Group of the National Cancer Institute of Canada, Co-Chair of the Myeloma Working Committee at the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research and member of the Board of Directors of the International Myeloma Society. Dr. Reece spearheaded the development of the Canadian Myeloma Research Group (CMRG) and currently holds the position of Chief Medical Officer in this organization. The CMRG conducts national investigator-initiated interventional clinical trials as well as real-world analyses using its myeloma-specific database containing information in over 10,000 Canadian myeloma patients.
