    Ben Derman, MD is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Chicago specializing in plasma cell disorders. He is interested in integrating measurable residual disease (MRD) diagnostics and immunotherapeutic strategies at the bedside. His research endeavors are focused on MRD in myeloma: novel ways to assess for residual disease, how to use MRD to guide clinical decision making, and how MRD may be used to identify possible cures.
