Dr. Ciara Louise Freeman is an Associate Professor and Clinical Investigator in the Department of Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Immunotherapy at Moffitt Cancer Center. She specializes in cellular therapies for multiple myeloma, with a focus on next-generation CAR-T trials, mechanisms of treatment resistance, and optimizing patient outcomes. Her research integrates multi-modal data—including molecular profiling, digital pathology, and radiomics—to develop predictive models and biomarkers of response. Dr. Freeman holds an MSc in Clinical Drug Development and a PhD in Cancer Biology from Queen Mary University of London. Her work bridges translational and clinical science, with the goal of improving the safety, efficacy, and durability of complex immune therapies.
