    Dr Kaufman is a Professor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. He is an active clinical and translational researcher in the fields of multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, and cellular therapy. His research focus is on the development of optimal treatment regimens and new therapy development for patients with plasma cell disorders. His work has been published in journals such as NEJM, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Blood, Leukemia, Blood Cancer Journal, Blood Cancer Discovery, and Lancet Oncology He is a member of the International Myeloma Working Group as well as the International Myeloma Society.
