Cecilie Velsoe Maeng, MD, is a PhD student at the Department of Hematology, University Hospital of Copenhagen. She began her research career with a fellowship through the Danish-American Research Exchange (DARE) Program at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 2018–2019. She graduated with a medical degree from Aarhus University in 2020 and started her PhD in 2023, focusing on premalignant hematological conditions.
