Dr Lindokuhle Nwabisa Goqwana is a Specialist Physician and Clinical Haematologist based at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital in Soweto, South Africa. She also serves as an Associate Lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. Dr Goqwana completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of the Witwatersrand, followed by specialization in Internal Medicine, during which she earned a Master of Medicine (MMed) and a Fellowship from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa. She was awarded the prestigious Asher Dubb Medal in recognition of her outstanding achievement in the fellowship examinations. Dr Goqwana completed her Clinical Haematology training under the mentorship of Professor Moosa Patel at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital and is currently pursuing a PhD in Haematology. Her research focuses on the bone marrow microenvironment in multiple myeloma (MM), particularly in the context of HIV.
