    Monica Morris has specialised in myeloma for over 35 years and has held specialist and senior nursing roles within the NHS at Hammersmith Hospital and St George's Hospital in London, UK. She has also worked in the non-profit sector, developing myeloma patient support services and healthcare professional education. Monica has authored several papers on myeloma and was an executive member of the UK Myeloma Society; a member of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence myeloma guidelines committee; and is a co-founder and member of the IMS Nurse and Allied Health Symposium steering committee. She currently works at Myeloma UK on a myeloma quality improvement project for UK hospitals.
