She is a Fellow of the International Society of Nephrology having studied at The Sheffield Kidney Institute & an alumnus of the University of Nairobi Department of Clinical medicine & Therapeutics.
She is the Deputy Secretary General of the African Association of Nephrology (AFRAN) and an executive member of Women in Nephrology Africa (WIN-A).
Khalida is curious about the genetics & immunology of kidney disease & passionate about bridging the gaps in CKD outcomes through translational medicine.
