Reshma Goel is a final-year medical student at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, India. An aspiring physician focused on promoting health equity in low- and middle-income countries through collaborative global research and community-based healthcare initiatives, while continually developing strong clinical competencies and a deeper understanding of patient-centered care.She has actively participated in several notable research projects, including the NIHR-funded GECKO study on global cholecystectomy outcomes, and an ongoing multicentric real-world evaluation of teclistamab in patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (SEHAT study).
Her commitment to research and community health has earned her recognition, including first prize at the Bangalore Medical Congress 2023 on Non Communicable Diseases and project selection by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) for the 2023–24 academic year.
In addition to academic pursuits, she has conducted interventional and cross-sectional studies on adolescent reproductive health and male infertility, reflecting a broad interest in preventive medicine and public health.
Fluent in both English and Hindi, she is dedicated to expanding her clinical acumen while contributing to research that informs equitable and sustainable healthcare delivery. She aspires to work at the intersection of clinical medicine, research, and policy in global health.
