Dr. Anna Puła, MD, PhD is a physician-scientist specializing in hematology and currently a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Myeloma Program at the University of Chicago. She earned her MD with honors and completed her PhD at the Medical University of Lodz in Poland, where she also undertook specialty training in hematology.
Her research centers on multiple myeloma, with a focus on mechanisms of drug resistance, measurable residual disease (MRD), and the bone marrow microenvironment. She is deeply engaged in both translational and clinical research and has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications. Her work has been presented at leading international conferences, including the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and the European Hematology Association (EHA) meetings.
Dr. Puła has contributed as a subinvestigator to numerous commercial and academic clinical trials and brings experience in study design, biomarker development, and data analysis. Her research accomplishments have been recognized with multiple national and international awards, including Poland’s prestigious Diamond Grant from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Her long-term goal is to advance personalized therapy in multiple myeloma through integrated multi-omic profiling and translational discoveries with direct clinical impact.
