Gabriele Colasurdo is the Director of Science & Research at Myeloma Canada and formerly served as Manager of Education and Patient Services. He leads and contributes to national efforts to improve outcomes for Canadians affected by multiple myeloma through research, education, and health system engagement. His portfolio includes advancing clinical trial access and equity, overseeing the Canadian evidence-based consensus guideline series, and managing research funding programs such as the Aldo Del Col Research Grant competition. Gabriele also develops collaborative research initiatives with academic institutions, industry partners, and public agencies, including work on minimal residual disease, patient-reported outcomes, and cellular therapies. He supports both professional and patient education through national initiatives for primary care providers and international conference collaborations. With a background in biochemistry and a focus on impact-oriented research, Gabriele is dedicated to making research and innovation truly matter in the lives of myeloma patients and caregivers across Canada.
