Dr. Hans Lee currently serves as the Director of Multiple Myeloma Research at the Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI). Prior to his move to SCRI, he was an Associate Professor and Director of Multiple Myeloma Clinical Research in the Department of Lymphoma/Myeloma at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He received his MD from Indiana University. Subsequently, he completed his internal medicine residency training at Washington University in St. Louis, followed by a hematology/oncology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Lee's clinical and research efforts are focused on advancing the care and treatment of patients with multiple myeloma and other plasma cell dyscrasias. Specifically, his primary research goals are directed towards developing novel approaches to treat multiple myeloma through early phase investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored clinical trials. Dr. Lee’s’ research has been funded by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) and been highlighted in 125+ peer-reviewed publications. In addition to his leadership role at SCRI, Dr. Lee serves as a medical oncologist at SCRI Oncology Partners in Nashville, Tennessee.
